Innovative is not just a tag line, it’s the basic tenet of our business.
Located in the British Virgin Islands, Innovative Textile Solutions (ITS) has been a developing concept for many years. Parented by Doyle Sailmakers BVI, we have been creating solutions that make outdoor living so much more enjoyable. Now it’s time to push ITS ‘out of the nest’.
It all started with the art of sailmaking and making marine canvas products built to withstand the harsh Caribbean environment of relentless sun and salt air, with the occasional hurricane thrown in for good measure. Our goal was always to build products that would look good and maintain their structural integrity for as long as possible.
We have experimented with different threads and fabrics, choosing those which compliment our designs with durability and longevity, resulting in more functional products. The lessons we learned and the skills we developed easily transferred to land based projects and thus ITS was born.
We are located at Road Reef Marina, housed with Doyle Sailmakers (BVI), and provide services for the entire BVI community including the design, production and installation of shade sails, tensile membrane structures, window covers, and upholstery.
